Mac’te Evernote kullanıyorsak uygulamayı hızlı bir şekilde güncellememiz gerekiyor. Çünkü sadece “bazı kullanıcıların” etkinlendiği bir sorun sebebiyle veri kaybı yaşanabiliyor!
Evernote, sorundan yaşanan kullanıcıları e-posta yoluyla hafta sonu itibariyle haberdar etmeye başladı. Bu e-postada yakın zamanda ortaya çıkan bir problem sebebiyle, içerisinde ek olan bazı notların (resim, video vb.) “bazı koşullar” oluştuğu taktirde bu eklerin silinebildiğini paylaşıyor. Sadece yazı içeren notlar ise güvende.
İçimizi rahatlatacak haber ise bu durumdan herkesin değil, sadece bazı kullanıcıların etkilenmiş olması. Yani Evernote’tan bir e-posta almadıysanız notlarınız güvende.
Evernote durumu farkeder farketmez sorunu çözmüş ve silinen notları geri kurtarmaya çalışmış, ancak tamamen başarılı olamamış. Bazı ekler kurtarılamamış. Fakat Evernote Premium kullanıcıları, Evernote’un “not tarihçesi” özelliği sayesinde bazı notları kurtarabiliyorlar.
Evernote, sorundan etkilenen kullanıcılar için 1 senelik Evernote Premium üyeliği hediye ediyor. Yaşanan sorunu çözmese de, yine de bir özür olarak düşünebiliriz bunu. Eğer zaten Evernote Premium kullanılıyorsa da bu hediye sayesinde kullanım süresi uzatılabiliyor.
Son 1 yıla kadar sıkı bir Evernote kullanıcısıyken, son 1 senede Apple’ın Notlar uygulamasını daha çok kullanmaya başladım açıkçası. Hem daha hızlı olması, hem de yeni getirdiği klasörleme imkanı ile Notlar uygulaması ve Evernote’u aynı anda kullanıyorum şu anda.
Hala bir çok notumun Evernote’ta olması sebebiyle Mac’teki Evernote uygulamasını da hızlıca güncelledim. Size de aynısını öneriyorum…

Please update Evernote on your Mac to the latest version as soon as possible: • From the menu, go to Help > Check For Updates… • If you do not see this menu option, update through the Mac App Store or from our website
The bug can occur in the version of Evernote for Mac released in September, and less frequently in versions released since June. In these versions, certain sequences of events, such as skimming quickly through a large number of notes, can cause an image or other attachments to be deleted from a note without warning. Text in notes is not affected.
Once we identified the problem, we worked quickly to implement a solution and attempted to restore all lost data. Unfortunately, some of your attachments couldn’t be automatically restored. However, you may be able to recover your attachments using Evernote’s note history feature available through Evernote Premium.
We are giving your account one free year of Evernote Premium to make amends and give you access to priority customer support via chat or email. If you already have Premium, the gift code can be used to extend your subscription for one additional year, or banked as Points to use for later.
